Journey Back to Wholeness

Journey Back to Wholeness

Journey back to wholeness.

A personal reflection on burnout, self-awareness, and returning to balance through presence and honesty.

There was a time when I reached complete exhaustion.

Not just physically… but mentally, emotionally, and energetically.

At the time, I didn’t fully realise how far I had moved away from myself — only that something didn’t feel right.

 The Realisation

On the outside, everything looked like it was working.

But internally, I felt flat, overwhelmed, and completely out of sync.

I kept pushing… until I couldn’t.

 Stepping Back

Stepping back wasn’t planned.

It was a quiet moment of realisation — I can’t keep doing this the same way.

 The Discomfort of Slowing Down

At first, slowing down felt uncomfortable.

Without distraction, everything I had been avoiding became more noticeable.

 Returning to Myself

Reiki became a way to sit with myself — not to fix anything, but to be present.

As I slowed down, I began to notice myself again.

 Reconnection

Time in nature helped me return to the present.

There was nothing to achieve.
I could just be.

Letting Go

Eventually, holding everything together felt heavier than letting go.

So I stopped forcing.

 A Shift

The shift was quiet.

Less force.
More honesty.
More awareness.

Wholeness

Wholeness isn’t about fixing parts of yourself.

It’s about recognising the whole of who you are.

A Quiet Invitation

If you feel overwhelmed or disconnected, begin simply.

Pause.
Notice.
Be honest with yourself.

If you feel called to be supported in your own process, you can explore what is available when it feels aligned.

The Power of Reiki

The Power of Reiki

The Power of Reiki

My journey into Energy Healing.

 The Beginning

In my early twenties, I found myself in a remote part of Australia, open to new experiences and saying yes without thinking too much about it.

When I was offered a Reiki session, I remember thinking…
I don’t really need this.

But I said yes anyway.

 The Experience

Lying under the night sky, I allowed myself to relax.

What I felt was something I had never experienced before.

It wasn’t dramatic, but it was undeniable.

A movement of energy through my body.
A deep sense of connection.
A feeling that something within me had opened.

I didn’t understand it, and I didn’t try to.
I just knew it mattered.

 Something Stayed With Me

After that experience, I couldn’t forget it.

Not in an overwhelming way… but in a quiet, steady way.

It stayed with me.

When I returned home, I felt drawn to learn more — even though I couldn’t fully explain why.

 Life Continued

Like most people, life unfolded with its own mix of highs and lows.

From the outside, everything looked like it was working…
but internally, there were times I felt disconnected and out of sync.

 Returning to Reiki

Through all of this, Reiki became something I could return to.

Not as a solution… but as a space.

A space to pause, to feel, and to reconnect with myself.

  A Deeper Understanding

Over time, I came to understand that Reiki doesn’t fix you.

It supports awareness across the whole self — body, mind, emotions, and energy.

 From Curiosity to Path

What began as curiosity slowly became something more grounded.

Looking back now, it feels less like something I chose…
and more like something I followed.

 A Gentle Invitation

If you feel even a small sense of curiosity or connection to this work, that’s enough.

If you feel a connection to this work, you’re welcome to explore sessions in your own time.

Finding Peace Within Chaos

Finding Peace Within Chaos

There are periods where life naturally becomes busy.

Things need your attention.
Decisions need to be made.
You’re showing up in different areas of your life, trying to hold it all together.

From the outside, it can look like you’re managing.

But internally, it can feel like you’re constantly catching up…
never quite landing.

The Search for Peace

In these moments, it’s natural to want things to slow down.

To feel calmer.
Clearer.
More in control.

But often, the more we try to create peace externally,
the more we notice how unsettled things feel internally.

What Chaos Really Is

Chaos isn’t always about what’s happening around you.

Often, it’s what’s happening within.

A busy mind.
Unprocessed emotions.
Tension held in the body.
Energy moving without awareness.

All of it interacting at once.

The Shift

Peace doesn’t come from everything becoming quiet.

It comes from becoming aware within the noise.

Noticing your thoughts without getting pulled into them.
Feeling your emotions without needing to push them away.
Allowing your body to soften, even slightly.

This is where something begins to change.

Small Moments Matter

It doesn’t require a complete reset.

It can begin in small, simple moments:

  • pausing between tasks
  • taking one conscious breath
  • noticing how you actually feel
  • allowing yourself to slow down, even briefly

These moments don’t remove the chaos…
but they change your relationship to it.

Returning to Yourself

When you begin to bring awareness to your internal state,
your whole system starts to respond.

The body may soften.
The nervous system may settle.
The mind becomes less reactive.

But more importantly,
you begin to feel more present within yourself.

A Different Kind of Peace

Peace isn’t always stillness.

Sometimes, it’s simply the ability to be with what is —
without resistance, without overwhelm, without needing everything to change.

A Gentle Reflection

You don’t need to have everything figured out to feel more at ease.

You don’t need life to be perfect to feel more present.

Sometimes, the shift begins with something much simpler…

A Quiet Invitation

Pause.
Notice what’s here.
Be honest with yourself.

From that place, things begin to settle in their own way.

If you feel ready to explore this more deeply, you can move into the sessions space when it feels right.
